sleepover!!

This weekend Spencer left for scout camp and I was faced with enduring my first time ever sleeping alone in our house without him :/ 
I have slept away from him before, back in August of 2011 when I flew to Vegas then drove to California to see my friend before she left for her mission. I was 6 weeks pregnant and had awful morning sickness so the whole entire flight and drive(& pretty much the whole trip, actually) I was just trying my hardest not to throw up. Anyway, it was a fun little trip but I missed him for sure! I'm not good at being away from him for long..or short.. periods of time. How did I survive that whole 2 year mission thing you ask? I was very very depressed :) And I lived in Hawaii so that helped take my mind off of missing him so outrageously much. 

This time was different though.. I was the one who was staying in our house all alone!! Yikes! I am a big scaredy cat. If I hear the slightest noise in our house I automatically think that someone is trying to break in or has already broken in and I make Spencer get out of bed and check the house and then check on Summer. So sleeping alone in our house without Spencer was out of the question. 

So naturally, I invited my parents over for a slumber party!!

It was very successful. I didn't miss Spencer as much as I thought that I would. It did help that he was gone less than 24 hours, & there was so much room in the bed!!
